I had lunch on Friday with a friend of mine. This woman is insane - she's on the boards of First Tuesday, TLP, is an editor with CanadaComputes.com, and is more plugged into the IT community than I am (hard to believe!)! We spoke about TIG and she really inspired me. She got me thinking about mentorship, which Jenn, Mike and Derek and I have been batting around. I had a thought: since the IT industry is not just coding, why not have a featured mentors section (like our current featured members) on the site, to spotlight alternative career paths in the industry?
